This chapbook, produced using an octavo layout on risograph and mixed lead and wood type on a Vandercook letterpress at the Soapbox, explores some of the ways that I encountered stories about lesbians as a young person. In discussing Nancy Garden’s Annie on My Mind, Jane Yolen’s Sister Light, Sister Dark, and Tamora Pierce’s Circle of Magic series, I reflect on representations of other worlds and ways of living and loving.
