AB O UT ME

I am fascinated by tactile, and craft knowledge, how people and place intersect, how conceptions of landscape and nature influence how we live and understand ourselves, and how the individual and collective past come to bear on every day life.

AS AN ARTIST,

I work in letterpress, book arts, and watercolor. I served on the board of The Soapbox: Community Print Shop & Zine Library from 2014-2023.

AS A SCHOLAR,

I am a PhD candidate in the History and Sociology of Science at the University of Pennsylvania. I work on collective memory, displacement, and living with envirotechnological systems.

My dissertation, “Land After Technology”, explores collective memory, place, belonging, and knowledge in New York City’s rural watershed in the 20^th and 21^st centuries.

I am a 2023-2024 Critical Speaking Fellow at the Penn Communication Within the Curriculum program.
